I first encountered tango in December 1990 at a tango festival in the Alte Reithalle in Stuttgart, Germany. And it was love at first sight. Searching for the essence of tango, I was greatly inspired by classes with Teresa Cunha, Pablo Veron, Carlos Copello, Mingo Pugliese, and Catherine & Federico. Experiencing dancers of the older generation, such as Pepito Avellaneda and Antonio Todaro, left a lasting impression on me.
For many years, I worked with Samuil Kiparidis and we developed numerous projects together.
After a longer stay in Buenos Aires, I began to teach in 1995: initially in Stuttgart and in 1996 also in Tübingen. Invitations to workshops followed. I performed at various venues in Stuttgart, such as the Theaterhaus, the Marmorsaal, the Rotebühlzentrum, the Kursaal, the Rosenau, the Mercedes-Benz Museum, the Züblinhaus (thanks to Ute Frühwirth!), at the foundation of the Deutsche Akademie des Tangos (Academia Alemana del Tango), and at the Landestheater Tübingen.
Despite my completed degree in Architecture, my passion for tango won out in 1998 and I decided to devote myself exclusively to tango. I trained as a tango teacher with J.D. Lange in Berlin, and familiarised myself with Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Method, and contemporary dance.
In January 2001, I founded the "Tango Vision" dance studio in Reutlingen, Germany and since that time have been working with Franz Moll.
